Cal Poly ITE has been a huge part of my undergraduate years and I can't wait to see how this club grows as I finish off my last two quarters. My passion lies in traffic design and operations, and I've had a lot of exposure to traffic engineering through my past internship at W-Trans and my current one at Central Coast Transportation Consulting. Along with this, I will be completing my thesis under our club advisor, Dr. Pande, which will focus on the Safe Routes to School Program. In my free time, I love to paint, crochet, knit, and basically tackle any DIY project you can think of. Looking forward to meeting all of you in person this upcoming quarter! |

Year: 5th/Grad Bio: Hello! My name is Katherine Lee, Cal Poly ITE's past president. I will be finishing off my last quarter of graduate school this upcoming Fall so I am very excited to be on campus and experience in-person events and seeing everyone again! I have been involved with ITE for about 2.5 years and have passion in traffic operation and analysis and roadway design. ITE has provided me with a family and a second home that I (seriously) have problems leaving behind (and trust me, I don't plan on leaving this awesome community). Lastly, thank you Western District for awarding me with the 2021 Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award and thank you Cal Poly ITE for awarding me the 2021 Eugene Jud Transportation Achievement Award. I am excited to see where the chapter goes this AY! |
