Cal Poly ITE is made up of students who are passionate about transportation: highways, traffic, public transit, bikes, railroads, airports, and more. Anyone is welcome to attend our general meetings, where we are proud to host guest speakers from a wide range of transportation companies. Poly ITE is the student chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. For the past 18 years, Cal Poly has been named the best public-master's university in the West by U.S. News & World Report, whose 2011 America's Best Colleges guidebook has moved Cal Poly's College of Engineering up one spot to become the No. 2 public engineering program in the nation. The Institute of Transportation Engineers is an international association of nearly 17,000 transportation professionals in more than 90 countries. ITE is organized into over 80 local and regional chapters and over 140 student chapters. |
