After an exciting 2009-2010 school year of hosting informative guest speakers from a variety transportation companies, Cal Poly ITE is looking forward to making 2010-2011 even better! Last year we hosted speakers from numerous companies including Kittelson and Associates, Fehr and Peers, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Bechtel, Caltrans, RBF Consulting, and SLO Transit. Presentation topics ranged from high occupancy/toll (HOT) lanes to airport engineering. We also took two trips to tour firms in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Our final event of the year was a special meeting where we elected our new officers for 2010-2011. Our new president is Reuben Juster, who served as vice president last year. His goals for the new school year include increasing club membership, expanding our network of corporate partners, and planning more fun events for the club.
